Charles Burkowski led words on commitment, he said to go all the way. For this, the worth of riding life straight to perfect laughter; he said, do it. I think about it, often, especially when I doubt myself. I then pair that with consideration to Robin Williams words in Dead Poets Soceity – make your life extrordinary.
First – listen to the words of world, and since we are composed of universe matter, we must listen to ourselves and not doubt our capabilities of infinite. Before the doing, I should ask – will this hurt anyone (including myself) and if not, then, do.
But what should I do? Some starters for courage and for bravery –
- Ask for the raise you believe you deserve
- Tell the story of your relatable unique experience
- Compliment that lady passing by with the cool shoes
- Speak the truth in your emotion when something bothers you
- Stay up, all night if you must, to accomplish that personal goal you’ve been putting off for years
- Drive to the shore at 4 in the morning so you can catch the sunrise you’ve been missing lately
- Write love letters to those who deserve them, and send them
And in what way should I do it? How you do is half the benefit –
- Live your life ferociously
- Know you are larger than your fear
- Break free from your comfort zone
- Love, who is right, when it’s right
- Say a heartfelt, Thank You (often)
- Be well, and humble
- Embody grace
- And look, with gentle kindness
